I hope everyone is checking out Keith and Julio's commentary over at the Th3rd World Blog, lots of great stuff on there. I didn't know half of it since we weren't on board with the book until much later.

I'm surprised how well the lettering still holds up. Thought I'd hate it by now.

I'm gonna be honest and say I didn't notice all those figures in the windows and hanging out of the saloon doors until Leminskate said something.

Thanks, as always, for the comments, folks! Here's my creator commentary for Page 4: http://www.th3rdworld.com/th3rdworldblog/?p=59

Heh - love all the little figures in the windows. So easy to miss and yet so cool!

Lemniskate, to more precisely answer your question, I come from a cartoony style background; that guy hanging head first is one of several examples in the book. The character Ted (appearing soon) is perhaps the "Thesis" of such expression.

My responses are limited. I ask the following: Why is the house with the white door lighted from the inside, while all the other houses are in darkness? ;)

How is the guy in the saloon door hanging head first?

Yeah, the commentaries are great. Really in-depth. This is a great page for atmosphere. Love the widescreen shot in the middle of the page.
