No shading. Shame on me. Got too lazy. Kind of overdid it on the “BAM!”s, too. XP
I was so sick this week.
There was this bug going around leaving a mess of coughing, gagging, stuffy-nosed people in its wake, and I was one of them. Luckily, I'm just getting over it, but there was a three day period where I was delerious with exhaustion, headaches, and stuffy-nose-ness. Not a fun time.
The sad thing is that I drew the next page in said delerium, so everything about it is just weird to me. But boy… one solid good night's sleep can do wonders. And lots of water. And cold medicine. And showers. Those are nice too.
*cough*
Anyway, more about the last page.
Originally I was just going to jump from page 49 to this one, but looking at it later it didn't make sense to me how the little lizard fellow here could be getting ready to slice and dice in one instant and then suddenly finished in the next. So after making a quick messy page that problem was fixed, although it looks like there's a LOT less blood than the previous page led you to believe. That's my bad.
In other news…
Art classes are picking up. I'm SO happy I switched teachers, actually. We've done nothing but draw the human figure (something I can NEVER get enough of) while the other class has just moved to CYLINDERS. Yay, circular stuff. Not like that isn't bad… but I've drawn enough still-lives for art classes to last me a lifetime. So anyway, maybe it'll all help me get better at drawing the whole human figure.
Well, it's the 22nd, guys. I dunno if you noticed, but the deadline for the contest was on the 20th. No worries if you still have an entry, though. I'll still take them until every last one is posted. Right now there are about six left that have not been shown, so that leaves you three more weeks. Step on it, folks! Great prizes, come on!
Okay, I've gotta go pick up a package, get more tissues for my runny nose, and start on homework, which I've been neglecting. Till next week, kiddos!

Well, sorry to say, I probably won't be reading your comments until I manage to catch up with the story... So... um... yeah, sorry. :| Anyways, who's this person? Seems familiar for some reason... Probably somebody I should know but don't remember.

I envy you and your human-figure drawing. All we eve got was vases and bowls of fruit and such. The ONE time we got a model, she was wearing a poofy dress. Argh. Anyway, nice page. I am quite endeared to little lizard man already. Good job!

D'oh. xD I had thought it was a feline type of creature. *ohwell* But anyway, about this page! ^ ^ *heh, the blood on the knife is prettyful* And I see you use the out of focus blur effect! xD Obviously done well, also! I likes me this page, though it is a shame it's not shaded. Still, there's enough detail in the lineart to where it looks just fine even without the entire thing being shaded. xO A vereh nice page!
