He doesn't have to register a copyright. as soon as you make something, it's copyrighted. you can, however, give up your copyright by proclaiming it to be in the public domain. Not that I'm sticking up for Shadow. His comics suck.
Even if you do outright steal an image and don't want to change it, you DO have to give credit and link to the comic you stole it from. This isn't a free way out of law trouble, but people generally won't pursue legal help if you at least link to their comic.
No, she's not claiming they're her's
She's parodying Powerup comics.
NOT stealing them.
If she said "I MADE THESE ALL MYSELF"
THEN she'd be breaching copyrights.
No, you people don't know jackshit about copyright laws. You avoid getting sued while doing a parody by drawing a similar character. You outright STOLE the images - pixel for pixel. If you were to redraw these in a similar, but different way you'd be fine. But as it stands right now you ARE violating copyright laws.
You know any suit he could draw against you would be dismissed right away, because it's fair use due to parody, right?
Whoever emailed you knows jack shit about copyright law.

Yeah, parodys are OK. You're not saying this is yours, you're parodying something. Plus it's 10 times funnier than powershit comics.
