I honestly don't remember if Cletus Cassidy is still alive in the comics. I know I read a Carnage miniseries a little while back, but I can't honestly remember who the host was.

Unless they brought him back. I think Cassidy is dead. The Sentry tore Carnage apart in the upper atmosphere supposedly destroying them both. I don't follow it anymore but I wonder hpow they explained not being burned up in reentry if they ressurrected Carnage.

Venom can't be too bright if he thinks he can hurt Supe's or GL. Wolverine's claw's would probably do a number on him as well, Batman probably has stuff stored away in his utility belt "just in case" and Spidey has beaten him before. Okay, face it, Venom is just hosed in general...
