I realized the other day that even though he's a complete jackass, as you've described, the real reason I hate Yosuke is that he wears headphones during battle and bobs his head around. He's not P3 MC. He hasn't earned the right to possess headphones.

I actually wouldn't mind going out with someone like him. He does act a bit of like "I know everything. I'm always right and you're always wrong", but he's kinda fun to have around as well and he always arranges meetings with the others too. Also, useful in battles. :p

I dunno... He is sorta funny, once you realize how lame he is. And, oddly enough, in battles, him being a jack of all trades makes him nice to have around, lame stats or not. Buuut, if I knew someone like Yosuke in real life, I probably would consider him too much of a rich daddy's boy to have around. :p
