This is really one of those comics where "show, not tell" applies. It would have been funnier if she actually did punch Matador in the face or threw rocks or something, but now it's just people sitting around, talking.

Matador was a pain in the ass for me, as well. I looked up how to stop him and I got "Fuse demons that null force." Like that was going to stop Andalucia... Useless. On the other hand, I always imagined Matador having an overly exaggerated Spanish accent. Made him funnier and more tolerable.

wow, that was good. by the way, anyone else fuse all those personas and never use any of them? when I found out, you can improve skills with arcana, I stuck with izanagi the whole game

Only time I've ever seen anyone one-shot Matador in Nocturne was my cousin because he power leveled and fused some badass force null demons. And I'll always consider that music to be Matador's theme. Even though it plays during all the fiend battles, it just fits him best and he came first. I find Daisoujou to be far harder because of the mahama/-mudo spam.

Matador wasn't that hard for me once I fused a demon with Agility (de)buffs. Also, this could just be me, but I don't find Matador to come out of nowhere. The manikin that was on the floor said that she(?) could feel death. That should've been an obvious hint that a boss was appearing soon.

Is it sad that I still haven't played Persona 3 or Nocturne. T_T I didn't read your persona 3 comic because of spoilers and the fact it would be hard to get most of the jokes if I haven't played the game. I really should buy the two before the PS2 become the new SNES in the next few years. Anyway great comic and this comic was pretty much the only reason why I made this account. I wanted to comment so many times but I didn't really know what to say without it just being a one liner. So yea, keep up the good work.

Yeah, try beating him when you picked hard mode first playthrough and you weren't expecting him. Still, nice Nocturne reference.
