Anytime any character talks about wanting to buy something, I laugh. Because as they're saying it, I just think that the MC has over 1 million yen just stuffed into his wallet.
I actually tried to research Kotatsu prices to see if 100,000 yen WOULD buy an expensive one or not…but I got distracted by random stuff on the internet. So if anyone with a better attention span than me wants to look into that, be my guest.

I just did a quick search, but most expensive one I could find in that short time was only $795, so a little over 62,000 yen. There's probably better ones out there, but it seems believable to me. 100,000 yen is something like $1,200
