I had a lot of debate as to what Persona the MC would be using in this fight (some of you may remember I even went on GameFAQs to ask people for advice) and I really had it narrowed down to either Ishtar or Lucifer. Lucifer because obviously he was the King Persona for the Judgement Arcana and would have represented everybody, or Ishtar because it would be a fun gesture to his girlfriend. Believe it or not, I did obviously choose Ishtar, but for a different reason. I chose her because she was the Persona I used to beat the game. My Ishtar had strong attacks, good healing spells and best of all, Spell Master.
Naoto being dead here is actually based on what happened while I was trying to beat the game for this comic…it was just easier to let her stay down.

i used for the dungeon naoto, kanji and teddie (one who cast spells, one who attacks and one who heals) but my team for everything and izanami was yosuke, chie and yukiko

I've only played P4 three times. My first run was Kanji, Teddie and Naoto (characters I wanted to use) my second playthrough was a rushed playthrough where I used Yosuke, Yukiko and Teddie (got the bad ending, just needed to get from where I was to NG+ as quick as possible) and my third playthrough which I used to make this comic was Kanji, Chie and Naoto. Chie being the only character I hadn't used before. Lemme tell ya though...Kanji, Chie, Naoto...worst possible team combination lol

I used different people every playthough. Though my first was one Chie, Yosuke, and Yukiko. Gotta love, all girls run and all guys run wasn't that hard ether for this boss.

I used Chie, Yukiko and Naoto, with Odin as my Persona. I pretty much always just pick whoever I like when it comes to parties in games, strategy is rarely needed when you can just power level.

9/12 for me too. Missed Naoto's arm somehow, Ishtar's hair and the exclamation point. >_> First playthrough I was using Chie, Yosuke and Yukiko. On my second I had Chie, Kanji and Teddie.

Kanji/Yosuke/Teddie/I don't remember which persona... Yosuke and Teddie used magic attacks, Kanji and MC were on physical assualt, and Teddie acted as my healer with the one item that doubles the effects of healing spells.

I used Yosuke/Kanji/Yukiko myself. And damn, only 9 out of 12. There were a couple spots where I could tell something was wrong (Ishtar's hair, Izanami's arm bands) but couldn't put my finger on it.

Geebus, Naoto and Chie for the Izanami fight!? Eww... Of course I had Kanji/Teddie/Yosuke for pretty much the whole game with few exceptions.
