Despite really trying to be, I don't think I'm quite into the inner circle of Persona fandom to understand the appeal of the phrase “Mark Danced Crazy” but from what I can gather, it's a phrase from the original localization that become popular, and so Atlus USA decided to keep it in the game for the fans. Also for what it's worth, I actually did do a tiny bit of research and drew a demon that DOES get Angry if Mark dances. Also his dance moves are stol-um…inspired by an old Calvin and Hobbes comic.
It just adds to their Anger meter when negotiating with them. Usually when Rage gets full the enemy just attacks you or inflicts you with a random ailment.
This is actually a comic that was added slightly later in the game than others, and was to sort of set up the next comic.
First, like Calvin and Hobbes, you should have just did the comic of just Mark dancing. In my opinion the last panel kind of ruins it.
Second, I never played the PSP version or the butchered up PS1 version of Persona, so I don't clearly understand the "Mark Dance". Does it put the enemies in the rage status condition likes in Personas 3 and 4, which increases attack but lowers the defense?
