I’m running out of titles here… As Cc’s running through the backstreets. Cc sneaks between the crowded city buildings to the rear of the palace, slips over onto the veranda and checks the windows… She gets in, sees a guard and slaughters him like a pig, (that's what guards are for in fiction). –copy and pasted from my other site ^_^
You’d think they’d have guarded themselves a little better wouldn’t you? But the Palace is in the middle of a crowded city and you can’t watch all approaches… Plus, normally they don’t have to be that vigilant and the situation is still very raw and recent so they haven’t gotten around to organising things properly here yet. Their attention is directed a little further from home at the moment- as it should be, according to plans…

Commentary:
Coydog had made a good comment originally about red shirted extras in StarTrek ^^ Yes, his tunic will be red soon anyway. Complicated reflection and shadow here… I used a bit too much detail on the building. When you get that carried away it’s time to pull back, or else you’re locked into doing the same thing every time. Lots of use of the straight line tool to make the building, if it was in pencil I’d be using a ruler a hell of a lot!
A note: the noise Cc makes opening the window is only loud to her, the guard doesn’t hear it!
