FINALLY I’VE FINALLY DONE IT!
Yep. Ok, I’ve made 3 short flash movies that are the epilogue for the current storyline in Pinky TA! Ah… I’m happy with them. They’re PAINFULLY short, but I like the way they turned out. Hopefully they’ll work on your computers… if anyone still even THINKS about Pinky TA after all this time…? :(
I’ll put the next movie up tomorrow maybe?
Page description:
Ok, the first movie in the series. What happens? Well, Pinky is piloting her S.S.V.5. into the dry, hot, sandy desert, trying to reach her rendezvous so she can go home. Unfortunately the poor old thing conks out so she becomes stranded with no way to get out… Until she spies something useful.
Commentary:
I was going to make one longer movie out of all three, but splitting them up makes them easier to edit and I can had more sound and stuff without worrying about the file size so much. Things are a bit jerky and the sound is off in some places a little bit, but I’m quite happy at the way it all turned out.
Extra:
I have lovely new fan-art from a few people… But I’m a bit out of doing the web “thing†at the moment, so I’m not going to do an update of the fan-art gallery just yet.

Commenty commenting! Hahahahah BigFish, looking makes the world go round, and round, and rouââ¬Â¦ Coy!!!, you have new work? I surely WILL check it out! Oh my god that S.S.V.5. was a pain to doââ¬Â¦ The initial image is taken from one of my comic pics. I traced the basic shape in Flash and then cut up all the moving parts and put them on their own layers. Then I had to work out what goes where when the thing walks, and HOW it walksââ¬Â¦ That was hardââ¬Â¦ no CG help unfortunately. Thanks Darthmoridin ^_^ haha! Mad-Maz-Mazzoooooooooo, Thanks so much! Iââ¬â¢m so glad youââ¬â¢re still around ^^ Joff, thanks man ^^ Spazza-dazza, indeed indeed!^^ Thanks Sub, you are the man. Mad-Simon-metalhead, unfortunately not. -_- There WILL be music. But no voices. I may put them in, in the future though. Iââ¬â¢d like to go back and do that when I get the right samples. Youââ¬â¢re right, itââ¬â¢d be MUCH better with voices! Thanks so much Nick! ^_^ always glad to see your comments. AHhhhhhhhhhhh! Iagojester! Hahahaha, you do me way too much credit. But thanks so much, I missed your fantastical piratical artworks too. Yeah, Iââ¬â¢m all back again. I think if I ever go of to work on heaps of things for a while again Iââ¬â¢ll be sure to use filler and report of progress at least. But now Iââ¬â¢m back to strengthen DDââ¬â¢s Aussie contingent again. Aww you couldnââ¬â¢t wait eh Alej? Haha! Yeah, itââ¬â¢s a funny little endingââ¬Â¦ It fits. It doesnââ¬â¢t fit, but then it does. Oh, I dunnoââ¬Â¦ I thought it was cool. ^_^ AH, Ham! Well if theyââ¬â¢re willing, thatââ¬â¢d be cool. Iââ¬â¢ll probably try and get my act together and try and get one of the gals I mentioned to have a go. I should! Although Ukrainian and Russian sounds damn good! Joshua the Hero! Thanks man! Your fanart is UP man. Thanks so much for that! ^^ Adriel, Thanks man! Kam, Hahahahahahaha! Shutup you bastard! Hahahaha! ^_^ Hawker, you have the coolest name, you know that donââ¬â¢t you? Thanks man. ^^ Sarah. Omg, I need to catch up on so many peopleââ¬â¢s comics, Vampire Phantasm is one of them! Thanks Sarah ^^ Zac, thanks dude. Sorry to keep you waiting man. Haha! Magical-Miss-Fittington, Aw, Thankyew ^^ Gregory, wow, thatââ¬â¢s some high praise Gregory, thanks man ^^ I hope I didnââ¬â¢t miss anyone out!

wow that was a lot of looping... the walking, the tent flapping, the hair flapping!! I'd say the best part is when you had her look up...
Coydog at 7:06PM, Oct. 17, 2006
Homestyle awesomesauce, Ozone! Some great animation with the walker. How did you do that? Draw it directly in Flash or did you have some CGI help? Check out my new DD strip, Wingtail Girls, BTW.
darthmoridin at 6:24PM, Oct. 17, 2006
Kickin' TA!!!
Mazoo at 3:39PM, Oct. 17, 2006
Wow! Great to see you back in action Ozone! I have to say that movie is pretty amazing. You may think it's primitive, but wow. Nice job!
Joff at 12:42PM, Oct. 17, 2006
That is awesome
spaz at 9:40AM, Oct. 17, 2006

subcultured at 9:38AM, Oct. 17, 2006
well worth the wait. now I look forawrd to more painted pages from you
simonitro at 9:03AM, Oct. 17, 2006
Wow! It's great! It's nice that you're back! DD is empty without you, pal! Anyway, the animation is working! Got a question: Are you gonna put some voice acting? I think it would add quality to the film if it isn't that troubling! Anyway, here's a 5 for the effort!
Nick at 5:11AM, Oct. 17, 2006
Dude, this looks awesome! Glad to have you back, sir.
iagojester at 4:40AM, Oct. 17, 2006
HHHHHHHHHHA! You Do you! It was not my imagination that you of such faulousness existed in the first place! I thought maybe my recent move closer to your awesome self, including conversing frequently with other Australians somehow made all my "please update PinkY TA" charms wear off and were, in fact, having the reverse affect. And now I see it is not so. These movies rock my world! You have the patience of a God, I tell you. And your color mutedness of these frames- including their sparse composition should get you some art award. Rock on, dude.
alejkhan at 4:15AM, Oct. 17, 2006
I saw them all and they are great even if they are so short, they still convey a good tale. I love the music you chose and I actually never expected the ending! I should've in retrospect though....
Hamorhage at 4:06AM, Oct. 17, 2006
Well I actually though know a russian girl and a girl from Ukrain. I think the Ukrain girl might even have the cheek to be able to act as Pinky...maybe I'll ask her to do a test and send it on to you..though it's been ages since I spoke to them aswell...lol...us overbusy cartoonists are loosing touch with reality!
Hero at 3:48AM, Oct. 17, 2006
Cool. I'm glad this comic is back. The movie looks great.
Ozoneocean at 2:45AM, Oct. 17, 2006
Hey thanks so much guys. I'm glad you're all still around here, you make Drunk Duck a nice place to be around! ^_^ Ham: "Oh..will Pinky have dialogue in upcoming movies? I wonder who would do the voiceovers?" Sadly, that's one of the big dissapointments in the movies clips. :( I failed to organise a time/place/etc with either one of the two girls I had my heart set on for Pinky's voice... That's the trouble when you haven't spoken to people for ages and ages, when you need them again it's even harder to get them! -For the reccord, I had a Slavic voice in mind for Pinky. So if there're any gals out there who're Slavic/Russian/etc (or do a really good Slavic accent) and are ok at acting (for free), I'd LOVE to talk to you! Thankyou all. I'm so glad you like it, I was worried it'd be a bit slow and dull, despite the time and effort. I'm too close to the project to know if it really is or not. It's so great you guys seem to like it as much as I do! ^_^
Hamorhage at 11:45PM, Oct. 16, 2006
Whoaaaa! An actual PInky movie! Excelent! And how well you've executed this! You put a lot of detail in the drawings concidering you're using flash as a tool, and the sounds weren't at all that bad! It convinced me anyway! YAy *claps* it was well worth the effort put in! I love the shot where we go into close up of Pinky and she animates her head up to teh camera, very personal. And the camels passing by was simple but very effective. I whish I could give some consrtuctive crtiticism but you nailed it down! Big ups! Oh..will Pinky have dialogue in upcoming movies? I wonder who would do the voiceovers? I bet we'll have some nice Australian accents shooting over the screen :D
Adariel at 11:29PM, Oct. 16, 2006
