Page description: The crew dig themselves out of the sand drift and find to their horror that there are no more tracks to follow! But what's that on the horizon?
Commentary: Done on time again, but this page took longer. I had other stuff to do that interfered and I was stubborn about not using references, that's why the figures in the top panel are so stiff and unnatural. I just couldn't nail it. Happy birthday to me for last Monday ^_^

Legendkiller - That's a lovely thing to say!
Hamorhage - Thanks man! You're back again Dave!
Juno - Thanks Joun ^^ It can be hard to catch up on comic can't it? Haha, I always get behind on SXD. So many updates!
Thomasnewman - Thanks Tom!
Conned - Hahaha, always a good idea! ^^ Yeah, I forget to fave comics all the time.
Tommie Kelly - Thanks Tommie!
Eunice - It's just coincidence Eunice! ^_^
Thanks, I'm glad you like the image so much. Holiday broacher? What a delightful comparison!
No Parking - Thankyou so much man!
Marine -heh, she certainly does!
Madscott - TY man ^^
FAL - Heh, makes it a lot easier to draw too! ;)
Lothar - It should've been...
F_Allen - TY man ^^
Kyupol - TY man ^^
Kam -Ty man ^^
Adariel - It's big all right, totally devoid of annoying backgrounds!
Coydog - Coy!!!! Hahaha, thanks a lot coy! Long time no see ^^
Neil - Hahaha, you almost succeeded! Almost! Hahaha, Ah, it's getting cooler now here so drawing warm pics is fun. And so is drawing Pinky's bum.
Brogan - Wow, that's an extra special compliment! Thanks for that man ^_^
Sarah - Almost.... Almost! ;)
PP - Haw haw!
Shadowless - Hahahahaha! Well it's wheels are pretty big and wide and it has 6 of them, so there's not much pressure on the surface. Also, sand doesn't distribute evenly. You can reason that any roads with be slightly above the level of the plain (in case of flooding etc.), so the sand wouldn't be so thick there anyway- and the truck is most likley heading down a road. even if you can't see it because of the spread sand ;)
Ah good ol' ozone. You can always count on him to make you feel like you can't even hold a pencil straight :D Great work...there's a nice consistency in your art which is excellent for publishing. And is it my imagination or are you really developping Pinky into a more serious character.
I have no idea why but the last panel view, simple as it seems, just feels like I'm looking at some desert vacation mag. XD Breathtakingly peaceful especially looking at a clear blue sky against a desert backdrop.
Say, how did the guys at the jeep managed to find Pinky's whereabouts in such a huge desert?
Dude, you rock. I love the way you're able to capture the feel of the desert in the colors. The glare of the sun and the way the light kind of shimmers off the distant sand. Makes me hot thinking about it.
See? I can make a comment on Pinky TA without saying anything about her butt! ...shit!
hmm.. I wonder.. how on earth is that vehicle able to power down the desert this soon after a sandstorm? I mean, judging by the amount of sand that burried Pinky and her cohorts, I'd say it would take at least two hours' worth of showeling to free the wheels of any vehicle in the vicinity.. .. or maybe they were just lucky...

Hope, it's not a mirage! Deserts can deceive as you know! I agree with silentkitty! It might be an enemy blip!
silentkitty at 7:02AM, April 18, 2007
Looks great! I hope the blip on the horizon is a friend and not more trouble for them, hehe.
