Forty thieves

professorzed on April 4, 2010

Pretty soon, the Pirate captain has managed to attract forty layabouts to act as his crew. They lie in the sun, ordering the monks around, while living in their courtyard and eating up all their food. The Pirate captain thinks of them as his forty thieves. The monk thinks of them as the forty suitors in the house of Odysseus, which had to be removed by force.
