Blue October

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, so it's in October that I grow most homesick. I miss my family more than ever in the fall. It was during one of these bouts of homesickness that I came up with this little parody of Blue Christmas.
The tree in the background is one that stands in front of the dorm I was living in at the time. I waited a long time to get just the right picture of it for this piece, which is a love note to my family.
