Because every Pokemon comic begins with a battle. Who am I to go against tradition?
People that have read this comic before I made these comics might be confused here.
What's up with Shawn? Simply put, it would be silly for him to have a backpack now when he's not going anywhere yet. So he, once again, gets an appearance change. At least for now.
On another note, I changed New Bark Town. Four buildings does not a town make. It might not be obvious in this comic, but there's more to the north. Just trust me for now.
