Wow, this is so weird to come here, a place I find total crap all the time and wonder... how can this be sooo horrid. And then I find a comic here that not only sucks less, but is drawn well... Have a 2, the art should be a five, but i've had to read so much crap to get here...

Mr. Winkle, like so many others in this great big universe we call "the universe", is dissatisfied with his place in life. His attempt to better his lot in life is briefly humored, then mercilessly beaten into submission. But underneath this story of a soul crushed under the weight of malevolent universe, there lurks a frightening undercurrent of codependency. Notice how quickly and eagerly Dork accepts the apology from a person who has shot him in the face countless times. Stranger still, notice that Shadow Wilson could have shot Mr. Winkle at any point during the latter's tirade, yet he refrained, only returning to violence after re-establishing Mr. Winkle's desire for inclusion. Shad and Chug are thrown into a panic by the thought that Dork no longer wants their company -- Shad and Chug NEED him, if only for the purpose of excluding him. Dark stuff, indeed, and an interesting spin on these classic characters.
