Marker or screen tone. Photoshop, that's what the tone is done with. :3 She's running from the failures. The computer's already ditched her. Thank you all.

Run, Prototype, run! Great job expressing movement! I like how you did the gray on the walls. It's uneven, which makes it look cool. It looks almost like you did it with marker, but it also kinda looks like a screentone, so I can't tell. Which is it? I'm a little bit confused what she's running from... is she running from the computer thing, or from all those failed experiment things she found? Still, awesome page!

It does seem pretty strange since this is so great. I'd definitely look into some other publishers. Not just tokyopop. You never know.
