Spacehawk's Space Madness Page 1 Naked

For the most part I've avoided posting works in progress or multiple variations of the same piece. It can be a little annoying when there's too much of that.
Still, I thought that it'd be fun to show you all what one my pages looks like before it gets processed. There's no color, no word balloons, and no digital tweaking of any kind. Just pencil, pen, and ink.
This is the first page of an upcoming Public Domain Funnies project. It uses a 1940's sci-fi hero dubbed Spacehawk. He was created by the great cartoonist Basil Wolverton and served his brief career as a second string character for publishing house Funnies Inc.
Spacehawk is best known for being the feature where Basil Wolverton came into form. The first instances of his famously bizarre monsters were in this strip. Nobody could draw ugly quite like Basil Wolverton.
