This is the first Pugnuggle Tale which appeared in slightly different form in “Photocopy Comics” around 1996. It was published by Lawrence Gardiner out of Pittsburgh PA.
I've been meaning to look at this comic ever since we first became "Drunk Duck" buddies...but saw the art and said, "Self...you need more time to look at this." So, I've been putting it off...You don't need me to tell you, it's awesome. Simply awesome. The surreal liquid flow of the artist's imagination is fantastic. I can't wait to read more! I loved the "Go ahead, take it." and the rest of the panels are exceptional, from the mappencily-watercolory (how do you color this) from the retro feel. I'm a fan, Harry. Your just too cool for school. Lynn.
I am so green with envy about your drawing skills I'm actually yellow :) This is classic comic art at its finest. My favorites on this page are Einstein, the walrus wearing shades and the little guy that looks a bit like Groucho Marx. He even wears shoes like my characters! And I love the way you drew your own hands in the big panel. For some reason, hands are my favorite thing to draw, next to spiders and all sorts of insects.
