Welcome to Puppets and Strings! I started this comic a while back, and even posted it on here for a time. However, like many things, it fell into the dark depths of my basket of ideas and was left there to gather dust. However, recently, I unearthed it, gave it a read and found myself wondering why I abandoned it in the first place! SO here it is again, only slightly newer, slightly better drawn but still the same in so many ways. It is still done in the original style and medium. I love graphite drawings and I could do to practice shading.
Enjoy!

I really love the art style!! it's got a well..dark feel to it which is always great. There's a word I'm looking for..that I can't recall but oh well..but it would fit your style..heh. Great first page!

I love that you used graphite for this...it's sets a dark tone for the story. The drawings are beautiful too. The font is hard to read for me, but I'm gonna check out the other pages still. Thanks Skyangel for telling us about this one.

Lovely first page page Em. It seems a lot different from your usual style , and it's very nice to look at. Something about the period and the characters gives me the impression this could be a creeepy sort of a story, and Clare looks so sad, poor thing!
