Dr. Emil Lang was a VERY minor character in the Macross segmant of Robotech but went on to being a prominant character in many sequel and spin-off stories.
I figured he'd be the perfect person to take the despondant Sergeant under his wing.

Well back to the main story.
It looks like Miriya is still not quite off the hook yet.
