Kuebiko was originally MUCH harsher in this comic. He openly said stuff like “Truth be told, every day…I wish for you to die” and how he'd hoped Juichi had killed him.
But I didn't really like that because I don't want Kuebiko to become a dislike character. Right now you have to sort of look at him like Baku.
Baku originally had no respect for Johei, he knocked him out, ate all his food, stole his bed, insulted him, etc. etc. That was of course because he had no loyalty towards Johei (until Baphomet if you all recall)
Same with Kuebiko. He really does have no loyalty to this summoner, right now Johei is just another job to him, one he'd rather not be doing.
Maybe I think about this stuff too much…
Oh also, just as a heads up. You should all go double check comic 135, because I made a change to it. I just added one panel, it was looking kinda blank and I didn't like it.
Anyways, I'm out of town this weekend (my grandparents 50th anniversary, commence d'awwws) so I will see you all when I get back Monday night.

Lazy Jackass. Could have made him funner

That wasn't as bad as i expected, he's just super apathetic.

Kuebiko is still cool. Being loyal from the beginning is cliche... or is it the other way around?

I can't believe I forgot. You have to max out loyalty before you get the good stuff from your demons in the Raidou games. Since Johei is a Raidou is it possible that getting non humans to help would require that also?

Ouch, that was really mean, but it's good to see you didn't make it too much of a d***.

The reluctant old man, huh? sounds fitting =D BTW Was he trying to convince Kuebiko with puppy dog eyes?
