Communication breakdown 2
n_y_japlander on Oct. 10, 2007
Many Japanese tend to shorten popular English word or phrases, this list is endless…. I touched base on two of the ones my wife uses often.
I will start uploading a Raw Fish? once a week… as work and extra projects are making my days shorter and shorter.
Hey, check out my “Fan Art” at BloodHound. If you don't read BloodHound, you are missing out!
I have a couple questions waiting in the wings at Japan Q&A, I will get one up soon…. please note that some research take longer than others, if you have sent a question, and I did NOT answer your question in a PQ, then it will be answered in the comic, sometime!
If you have any questions about Japan, the answer is just a PQ away…
As always thanx for reading!

I really like this comic. It's unique and every strip is interesting. Keep up the good work.

People are always shortening stuff to other stuff, just to confuse others...
Daf42 at 2:14PM, Oct. 12, 2007
Japan sure is confusing! Have you been to Hong Kong? How can whore and street and chicken be the same word? Come on, thats just going to catch us white people out!
mastergloyd at 10:25AM, Oct. 12, 2007
That's funny. I guess shortening things is the new cool thing to do. Like in our culture, we just make acronyms or abbreviations for all our shows and movies!
dantheman at 10:08AM, Oct. 12, 2007
that's cool. I love hearing about other culture's mixing our culture

Ah, MR.Donut! Great lemon tea and sugar-sprinkled donuts. Koreans have Konglish, and it used to drive me up the wall. Now, I've embraced it, and abuse it!

I learn something every time. Not only is it entertaining, Raw Fish is so educational. Watching spinach--not so educational.
