Heat...
n_y_japlander on Nov. 20, 2007
Most houses and apartments in Japan do NOT have central heat or air… one must use a space heater, and or a kotatsu (a small table with a heater under the top, with a blanket to keep the heat in) in the winter. This only heats one room, leaving the rest of the house frozen!
Alrighty all, I am almost done with my DD zombie pages… But, there are 3 web design projects that are/will take up some free time, so I hope by Saturday, there will be a brand new shinyJapan Q&A for all to enjoy!!!!
Again… help Phantom Penguin go home for X-mas, and donate to homeless armed forces members…
Many of the fine men and women of the armed forces are paid under minimum wage, so money just does not go as far these days (I know, I did 10 years in the USAF). However many of these protectors of our way of life, are becoming homeless…. Phantom Penguin has a donate link set up on his comic…. so go on over and help the men and women who help all of us, with out question!
Go to his comic by clicking here
…
Thanx for reading!!
Corey
And for all that do not know…
There is a very cool web community comic about your worse fears, here that could use more views and entries! Go there to find out more!!

At least his stream didn't freeze, if you get what I mean. Of course you get what I mean, I've never been good at subtle. :)

Wow you were in the USAF? I have serious respect for our people in the armed forces. Most of my family is so I donate whenever I can. Anyways Happy Thanksgiving man and if worse comes to worse just light someone else's house on fire and gather around it for warmth. ^_^

Ah, that's right ... the kotatsu! I love those things~!! Korea has heated floors. They're also great for drying your laundry. You have a heated toilet though, right?

Great Job Corey! I agree totally with Amy the last frame is well done. I prefer cold over heat any day. Just put on more clothes and layers as opposed to doing the opposite w/ heat. With cold there's no end to the number of layers you can put on...but with heat...yikes!

Wow, Crocty's head's getting bigger than his characters'...hehehehe (oh Croc, you're so fun to rib). Corey--this is one of my favorite pages so far. I could never, ever do the iced-over effect you gave Melvin in that last panel. That is ACE, buddy.

You also forgot to say in your author's coments "Melvin appeared in the best comic ever, it's so awesome, if you people don't go check it out. You'll literally. EXPLODE! Click HERE to see he best cameo ever." I guess you forgot D: (It's pretty much the same temperature here in Britian...ESPECIALLY in the summer D:)
