Wednesday, my wife and I went to Tokyo DisneySea, it was a Japanese holiday, so most of the country was off from their 9-5 jobs, and being Japan, we thought the place would be packed…
To our surprise, the place was half as full as it usually is!!! Mind you there was still thousands of people there, but, WOW… we went on most rides twice, rode a total of 12 times (several rides twice). Did not see any shows, but the last one in the center of the park; the Harbor, even then we had front row seats (had to wait in the cold for an hour, but it was the only waiting we did all day!!!)
Click here to find out more about DisneySea.
And please go to the picture forums (bottom of page 8) to see a few pictures from the day… my camera is not holding a charge, so we only took a handful of pictures…
Have a great weekend, and as always thanks for coming by!!!!

Thanks for sending me the info about Disney Sea... and now a strip about it! Ha ha... Having recently visited Disneyland... I can relate to the pinball vibe... I enjoyed the pictures, too

Looks like it was a great trip. Cool pictures I must say I always thought you would look more like your avatar so I was a little disappointed by you not having freakish looks.

Half empty or half full. That was a revealing statement, Corey!

Yes, I've read about DisneySea. I find the whole licensing arrangement interesting. It's not like Disney to let somebody else use their characters, even for money. The only other thing I can even think of like that is the Kingdom Hearts series, but Disney's own software studio had some involvement with that. It's not like the Tokyo parks where The Mouse just agreed to let someone else use their trademarks and then let the licensor loose.

Surreal... Yeah, amusement parks are most fun when empty. I've never been to a *big* one, but I did go to King's Island when it was cloudy and chilly. No one was there. It was... deserted. So much fun, though.
