Spring is here!!! the cherry blossoms are in full bloom!!
Dentistry has improved ten fold in the last decade here! but I still do not agree with the amount of visits or the time of the appointments…
Here in Japan, a routine checkup with cleaning will take at least 3 visits, but each time it is only 10-15 minutes, but you have to go 3 times, even if no problems… A couple of years ago, I had major mouth trouble, had to have a tooth pulled out and a bridge put in. The whole process took about 6 months, going twice a week….

I hate going to the dentist. I would really hate it if they spoke a language I didn't know. That would scare the hell out of me.

Ha! Dental work sucks whereever it is it appears. that is a long time for that work. How much discomfort did you have to deal with having to wait so long for all that work?

I wouldn't be able to handle that. I always keep a busy schedule and going multiple times in a month would through me off.

The thing I noticed about Japanese dentistry, though, is that although you have to keep going back they only make you pay a little at a time. So if you're paid weekly like me (I'm prob the only one!) it's actually better!

I had my teeth cleaned a couple of months ago, and I have to go again... eh... same time next year, I think... I guess Japan is into the more "get it done fast" than we are here in the states...
