That's right… I don't own a clothes drier… clothes are hung out, or in depending on the weather. So, one needs to plan if you want to wear something specific, and it needs washing….
but, the plus side, clothes last forever when you don't dry them! I have some shirts that are pushing 13 years old!!!

Harry my wife has bad allergies too… but flu is very different! she can cope with allergies, but she is down with the slightest fever… me, working here in Japan for 10 years (outside the AF) I have taken 3 sick days… and only one was from a flu…. but I have had countless fevers throughout my years.
EEN I would be lost without my cell phone… TV, three GPSs, 12 dictionaries, computer document reader, Internet viewer (actual INTERNET, not the CHTML) bluetooth… and so on, I'm just scared to use any, because I can't read it!!! might run up an outrageous fee and not know it!!

machinehead at 2:40PM, May 21, 2009
They should put microwave and oven drying instruction on the tags for clothes.
Gabe Puratekuta at 2:13PM, May 21, 2009
Next time, stick it in the oven :P
oldguy85 at 10:05AM, May 21, 2009
I read about a gal who put her underwire bra in the nuke and caught her whole kitchen on fire.
TBustah at 9:50AM, May 21, 2009
My uncle's family in Yuma didn't used to have one either. I don't know if it was that they just couldn't afford one, or if it was just faster to use the line. They've got five kids, which adds up to a lot of clothes, and since Yuma's temperatures rarely fall below 70, even in the winter, it was probably just faster to hang them out. Myself, I don't have either. I just take my laundry with me when I head home to Yerington, or I gotta go to one of the laundromats here in Carson City.
Stickfodder at 8:50AM, May 21, 2009
I'd think that the oven would be a better choice.
Freegurt at 8:36AM, May 21, 2009
I have a dryer, but I hang the towels outside (save on energy and all that good stuff). Let me tell you, it's painful to use such stiff, scratchy towels.
Holy Sock at 7:43AM, May 21, 2009
I don't have a clothes drier either. We use good ol' sunshine! Which we hardly get.........
armandoB at 6:49AM, May 21, 2009
hmmm
Niccea at 6:25AM, May 21, 2009
Never put anything that is not microwavable in a microwave. Unless it is a crumbled up ball of aluminum foil. That is just awesome. And I said three school districts were closed, but my university wasn't. T.T
TheMidge28 at 4:36AM, May 21, 2009
I heard that about the longevity. hmmm....
mattchee at 11:48PM, May 20, 2009
hahah.. the lint trap is a slow grave for disintegrating clothes!
ghostrunner at 11:35PM, May 20, 2009
i used to dry my underwaer on my car's radio antenna. no i dont support it
Evil Emperor Nick at 10:58PM, May 20, 2009
You should just try using a hair dryer.
Avie at 10:21PM, May 20, 2009
Whoaaa I don't think I can live without a dryer >.< Using a microwave to dry your clothes, that is the pioneer-way ! Haha.
RushtonCygnus at 10:17PM, May 20, 2009
Air dried clothes have a funny smell to them but that's probably just because I'm used to the out of the dryer smell.
Warpedwenger at 10:11PM, May 20, 2009
They last longer really? I didn't know that... Makes sense tho...
Anubis at 10:10PM, May 20, 2009
Ive never tried microwaving clothing.........
