frozen pizza
n_y_japlander on May 24, 2009
Yes, I don't have an oven, but my microwave does have a convectional oven built in… however I have to preheat it for like a half an hour before I cook pizza, or the bottom won't get cooked!
*the burnt plastic reference is from two comics back!

HoM the sneaky people are good, they start the bidding under the store price, just to make sure that they do not break any laws… then if the price goes higher than the store, there is nothing nobody can do!

my parents got something similar right before I moved out. Seemed like there was more time spent during pre-heat than to actually cook anything!
ghostrunner at 9:51PM, May 25, 2009
caught it. XD

I agree with MachineHead, toaster ovens are great.
machinehead at 3:58PM, May 25, 2009
My toaster oven was the best wedding present I received when I got married. And that includes the love of my wife.
Theskunktrainer at 3:44PM, May 25, 2009

armandoB at 11:14AM, May 25, 2009

Well don't feel to bad. I have a very old oven and it takes about 25 minutes to pre-heat so you are not missing all that much without a normal oven. People might actually use a micro-combo oven over my normal one if it used less electricity but from the way you make it sound I'm guessing that isn't the case. Also awesome running gag with the microwave.
Tedmund at 9:33AM, May 25, 2009
lol, I use a toaster oven. Microwaves are a pain in the ass. They can't even warm up your food right. It takes the radiation a while to travel to the center (depending on the microwave you have).
Jonko at 8:53AM, May 25, 2009
If you're using your microwave, my recommendation is to press "toast" 3 times. Always ends up perfect!! :p
Stickfodder at 8:12AM, May 25, 2009
I actually have a little convection oven that's the same size as a microwave yet it can still fit a 12 inch pizza.
Holy Sock at 7:54AM, May 25, 2009
I hate reheated dinners via microwaves....
usedbooks at 6:31AM, May 25, 2009
Lol. I had to go back for the plastic reference, but it was really cute.
junglebean at 5:25AM, May 25, 2009
Just say no!
TheMidge28 at 3:54AM, May 25, 2009
I bet its hard to get good pizza in Japan, right?
oldguy85 at 3:01AM, May 25, 2009
Had an apartment with no oven once but the trade off was an indoor grill. mmmm steak.
Avie at 1:32AM, May 25, 2009
That does not sound like a microwave I would have >.< I would be terribly impatient with it.How ironic, my old microwave died on me and being on a tight budget I bought whatever I could find. The new one I have now (that I got at a yard sale) looks really old but it pops my popcorn like magic. Ha.
Custard Trout at 12:40AM, May 25, 2009
How is that different from just cooking it in the microwave?
slimredninja at 12:04AM, May 25, 2009
Is the reason for no ovens a lack of space?
Anubis at 11:01PM, May 24, 2009
all the more reason for an oven I love a good roast
