Japanese people, men, women, young and old alike, turn to screaming mi-mis' whenever a cockroach scurries by… my rule of thumb is; if it is smaller than my foot, it can die!
Had a good laugh at the station yesterday, watching grown men and women leaping out of the way of a black and brown glossy little garbage crawler ran past…
Thanks for all the good wishes with my back trouble!! It seemed to work! I'm at about 80% today, a very tolerable level to be at!!

My mom says that a cockroach got into my crib once when I was a baby. She says I didn't freak out at all, I just giggled because it was crawling around on my bare belly.

I'm not the jumpy type, but I don't blame 'em for freaking out over cockroaches. Freaky little things, ugh. Congrats on the nomination! Good luck!

Lol. I feel like that all the time. I'm the designated spider-squisher at work. And when anyone sees a snake they freak out, but I grab my camera and try to find it.
