arm swing
n_y_japlander on Sept. 3, 2009
As many of you know, I live in Tokyo…
west Tokyo that is. Where I live it is more of a rural area than the concrete and steel jungle that many of you picture Tokyo of being… but none the less there are still hoards and hoards of people here. It never ceases to amaze me, many Japanese people have one heck of an arm swing. Usually extending just under their total arm length… I sh!t you not!!!!
so, please keep this in mind if you ever come to any populated area in Japan, the people are not attacking you (maybe not) they are just trying to create kinetic motion to aid them on their journey…
** I did not win any awards in this year's award ceremony, but I'm still very happy that I was nominated and in the running for two awards this year! Thank you for supporting me, and for reading my comic strip! Without this support I might not be here!!!
*** To be very frank, I'm surprised that Raw Fish was in the running for the “All ages” award… as every one who reads this comic knows I push my “E” rating just a bit… but as a rebuttal, it is “E” here in Japan, with no question!
Have a great weekend!!

OUCH! A girl I know who lived in Japan for a few years told me she had been walking down a really busy street and unintentionally PLOWED this little kid to the ground. What he do? According to her, the kid picked himself up and kept walking like it was an every day thing.

They like to swing the arms, eh? Congrats again on the noms. I was a little bummed you didn't win any, but I'm sure you feel like I do, that just being nominated is quite an honor. Having to pick out of the top 5 or so... tough stuff!
