Japanese comedy can be so violent….

I've never really gotten Japanese humor, but I sure do like some of their prank shows. Especially the one where they rigged a public toilet and then after a countdown the floor lifed up and the roof came off and the person inside was caught unaware trying to go to the restroom.. or the 100 vs 1 one.

I do love japanese comedy.... like the Dont laugh games....Blowdarts in the arse! then theres the one on you tube where they have to say a tounge twister...and if they fail *CRACK* a spring loaded ball hitter gets them!

I once saw a show where they made people do tongue twisters in Japanese and using a machine to hit them in the junk if they made a mistake.

Is it really all that different from western humor? I've seen some sketch shows and whatnot from Japan and other countries in Asia, and I don't think so. I think the only real difference is that they tend to get away with things that would never fly over here, and of course the subjects of the jokes are different.
