46 - Not over till it's over

This one was a real learning experience. I made the mistake of drawing in my sketchbook and liked the panel so much I decided not to redraw it. Problem No. 1 is that the paper is much different than the paper I usually use and my pens behaved differently. I also spaced things differently, making it necessary to cut and paste each individual panel into the final strip. I usually scan two side by side panels at a time and then paste the top half and bottom half together.

I also didn't like some of the art, so I had to cut and paste some different lips on the final panel. I also pasted some other things and resized parts of panel two. It ended up okay, but probably took as long to get everything together than it did to draw the damn thing.

I also had to re-letter panel four after I shrank everything down, that is why you see a slight difference in lettering sizes.

Oh well, I will now avoid the sketchbook and stick to the better art board.
