Actually my standards are a lot higher than they used to be. I was very new to the concept of webcomics for a long while. And it's not your racism that pisses me off. It's the homophobia. I'm trying to keep my composure, but I'm a push comes to shove kinda' guy. At this point, their lack of argument and "I'm rubber, you're glue" crap is far too easy to exploit. I'm basing my arguments off logic and fact, something they aren't doing. So yeah, I get where you re coming from. We've kept our cool, cept' for a few bumps. Rich, that's all they'll do. I'm at a crossroads. If I leave them alone, they'll think they got the better of me. Big deal, I know. But I'll be damned if I let a racist get the better of me. I think this disussion is sorely lacking some tack. However, I not going to guarantee anything. First to Trashcan and Spoon. You know that word I just used, tact? look it up, you mind find it useful in creating a successful argument without pissing everyone off. As you have hinted to, you have been banned for 2 months if I'm not mistaken. Maybe that's a clue to think BEFORE you speak. Secondly, being outrageous or racist or sexist is only funny or amusing when its done just right or in jest. Blazing Saddles by Mel Brooks is an incredibly offensive movie, but it is funny because of the way it deals with it(i.e. it treats racism as something lighthearted and silly). To TASC and everyone else: Don't lower yourselves to their level. Just sound like intelligent human beings and point out holes in their arguments. You've been more or less doing that so far, so keep it up. Trust me, I've had a situation like this before. The person I was in an argument with lost without even knowing it, because they were so egotistical and stubborn, they hadn't noticed no one agreed with or cared about what they said, sans as a source of amusement.
