Prologue #03: Remedial Class

I guess none of you are surprised by Felicity being their teacher considering this comic is called “Remedial Magic,” but I thought it would be interesting to see a couple of students speculating.

I took some remedial classes myself. I was bad at math and I probably have some kind of undisagnosed learning disability (ADHD), which my mom never got checked out because I was on some asthma medication that she thought was the problem, but now that I'm on a different medicine, I think the asthma medicine exacerbated the problem. Either way, I was never that great at school. I did poorly in a high school English class because I didn't apply myself and didn't read the material. I put in the same effort in college and got B+s on all my papers. Maybe college professors are more forgiving of BS.

Either way, I wasn't great at school, so I've had to take some of these classes myself. Maybe that's why I decided to have the framing story be about a remedial class. I dunno.
