7 - Dungeon Crawling

So here we have a break away from the in-jokes, where we decided to start making the humor so other people think it's funny, not just us. What better way then to move from the players to the characters and actually have them in a game?

This also marks the point where Adam and I worked out just how he wanted me drawing Styx. So she gets black eyeshadow and black lipstick. And batwings added in. And her personality starts showing up.

Styx is never a good sign. Whether it's the river Styx or the awful 80s bad on the same name it just doesn't bode well.

I like Styx but I like the clean versions of the comic. I never did like inuendoes, etc.

Honestly I wish more of them could be like this. Adult humor is a FortÃ© of mine. This piece also shows rather than tells, and gets me thinking about the characters. The last one did too, with James' reaction to Seth.
