My friend who Loved video games told me I should give up and not make comics because I couldn't draw. In less than 1 year I got featured on the duck, backed by Kawai on Patreon. Hit the top 10 most viewed comics section. So you know what W, quit video games, make your novel and drop that loser because it's sure been working out for me :D:D! The amount of money I save is the real victory if i'm being honest.

I remember hearing a story about an art teacher who told Theodor Geisel that he couldn't draw and should give it up. Geisel kept drawing anyway and eventually became a famous author of children's books. His pen name was "Dr. Seuss." I like to tell that story to anyone who has been told that they can't draw.
