The trackball controller made games like Centipede an absolute blast! It was like today's fight sticks - pretty much useful only for a handful of games, but boy, did they make those games fun to play.
And yes, I do believe I lost at least one controller due to an incident with a ping pong table….

The 5200 controllers were infamous for being Faulty.

Indeed. I found a company online that has made ones that hold up better... but they're $80 bucks each. I like nostalgia, but not that much....
