Prologue: Page 01

So I've decided to completely re-vamp the series and start from scratch. While it was with a heavy heart to delete all the pages (and more so, all the supportive comments), this is ultimately my passion project. It is something that I've been working on for around 10 years and I want it to look great and I don't want it to be encumbered by old, outdated pages, especially when enticing new readers.
At the end of the day, I want my pages to look smooth, crisp, well shaded, well toned and consistent. I have a tendency to constantly try new techniques that can make the pages erratic in design. I want this to legitimately look like a great series.
So for new readers, welcome.
For the old readers, thanks for still sticking around.

Oh wow, I must admit, it takes a lot of determination to decide to restart from scratch after puttin in all that work! I've always liked seeing your smooth linework and dynamic paneling. I hope you end up enjoying your work more and more as you progress in your work as an artist and storyteller!

Many thanks. Something that I'm more aware of is that The Duck (as well as other sites) will condense the updates in someway, often subtle. It would constantly throw me off thinking that something was up with the Lineart that I was trying to make crisp and clean. I would constantly edit the illustrations because I thought that this was just a natural inclination of digitally drawing. At the end of it all, I would constantly change things up, always leading to more inconsistency. I am now aware of this and on top of that, I want to keep my style specific, not constantly add things just to go back again the next page. As much as I want to shade and tone, I think keeping things relatively simple is both better visually and easier drawing wise.
