Artificial Phazon is an attempt to keep using Phazon as a source of power. Unfortunately, Artificial Phazon is far more dangerous than normal Phazon. Unlike Phazon, Artificial Phazon kills within moments of being encountered and is Semi-sentient. As show in the comic, Artificial Phazon hunts for prey to consume and grow. Anything consumed by Artificial Phazon turns into more Artificial Phazon. I'll explain it in more detail in the comic later on.

I've played metroid games, but I've never seen artificial phazon... Is it sentient or something?

I hope I'm not the only one who's getting a blank from the term "Artificial Phazon" but I probably am.... I haven't played many Megaman games, or any metroid ones....
