My sense of humor is pretty abstract at times, I guess. This is simply a case of redirection. Contradiction humor. Like irony, but much less clever. In other words -- stop thinking. Go watch several hours of television and come back. Maybe it'll be funny then. And no Frontline or Frasier reruns, either. Go watch something with no redeeming value. Go watch the evening news and come back here once your brain is slushed.
