Oh, dear...this won't end well.
DAJB at 5:30AM, Dec. 13, 2007
bbr: Yes, it is. (See my answer to Bustah, below.)

Small bug, the Hooked cross is inverted on the skinhead's skull. It's supposed to be 2 crossed "S" i believe?

MakingComics: There's a logical progression to Stan's action scenes. When he's abducted in Chapter 1, he's passive. In Chapter 2 when he's with Sunil, he runs. In Chapter 3 when another person's life is threatened he does attack one of the intruders but only after the others around him have already tried (and failed) to take them down. Here, when there is no-one else to take on the bad guys ... well, you'll see! Molly: Hah - that'll learn 'em! Ummm ... not to give anything away, like, but you might want to start drawing now ...! Rutger: You obviously know our Stan too well!

I figured it was only a matter of time before this scenerio came up.
Molly Loves the KLF at 12:55PM, Dec. 5, 2007
Argh Bloody Racist skinheads. I'm talking about the bad kind, not the ones in 'This is England' They had better not touch Sunil. If they do I'll draw myself as a cartoon and go beat em up. Not really. But I would if I could...!
Rutger at 2:48AM, Dec. 3, 2007
Told ya he wouldn't run.

Thip/Abt: I'm not convinced you guys like Stan as much as you say you do ... You really seem to want him to risk life and limb here! Abt: Thanks for the info. It was one of those bizarre little facts tucked away somewhere in the back of my mind. No idea where I got it from! ComicBookGuy: Thanks. And welcome!
thip at 10:20AM, Nov. 30, 2007
Standing up to a gaggle of goons who'd kill you for a bus ticket when you're drawing your pension and haven't even got a teapot to defend yourself - now that's heroism. Almost on a Darwin Award level. OK, just kidding, I just love that guy, I'm behind him all the way - far behind him ;o)
Abt_Nihil at 9:41AM, Nov. 30, 2007
You're right on the swastika... the way I learned it in mytholoy 101, the "2" shaped one is the rising sun (life), the "S" is the setting sun (death). And as much as I'm hoping Boo will intervene (whether she really is "Peaches" or not), I'd definitely like to see Stan kick some butt.
comicbookguy2007 at 4:59AM, Nov. 30, 2007
Wow! Great story so far! The artwork is incredible!!
DAJB at 2:44AM, Nov. 30, 2007
JMT: So ... you don't hold out much hope for a peaceful resolution, then? :-P LJS: Thanks! Space: You sound so sure he has a cover to be blown ...! ;-)
jmt at 4:52PM, Nov. 29, 2007
awwwww snap!
spacehamster at 2:07PM, Nov. 29, 2007
Ha. Somebody's about to blow his cover.
DAJB at 12:30PM, Nov. 29, 2007
Popen: Absolutely. Who needs super villains when the ordinary kind are as nasty as this?! Adam: I share your concern ...! Trevor: Yes, reading this directly after the previous page would make it fairly obvious. But then, it's not exactly meant to be a secret. It's just a nice bonus that it works this way when read in instalments! Alana: Yes, that's the direction ... Let's just hope he's not off course ...! Tantz: I'm assuming you mean Stan? Well, I should hope so ... He's a respectable man! (And, no. There'll be no mistaking Boo when you see her!) JNP: That's the thing with monologues. You can never have too many! Midge: You have such faith in our man. It's touching! ;-) Harry: Yes, yes he is! Thanks! Rutger: It's a toughie, for sure!
popenfresh at 10:52AM, Nov. 29, 2007
It's always nice to toss in some thugs to make things more interesting. ^^
Adam Black at 10:24AM, Nov. 29, 2007
I'm concerned that this isn't going to end well.
trevoramueller at 10:17AM, Nov. 29, 2007
I like this sequence, where the reader doesn't see who the "audience" is until the last panel - although, if read in print it would be much more obvious. Still, a great lead-in. As always, love the art and the color!
alanajoli at 7:15AM, Nov. 29, 2007
Well, while I hope that Boo shows up and saves the day... I think it doesn't always take powers to be a hero. And that's the direction Stanley keeps heading... Nice gritty images, by the way.
Tantz_Aerine at 5:01AM, Nov. 29, 2007
FOr a moment, I thought the begging lady was actually Boo. XD Good show for Doug, too! His choice makes you really respect the character.
JustNoPoint at 4:47AM, Nov. 29, 2007
Ah, that Stanley... not even something as serious as this can keep him from doing his monologues for long =D Great turn of events... I really wanna see what happens next!
TheMidge28 at 4:38AM, Nov. 29, 2007
Stanley about to kick some arse? Oh Boy! been looking forward to this!
harryq at 3:31AM, Nov. 29, 2007
I just realized, I'm always going on about your writing and hardly ever mention the art! Let me fix that. HARSHO IS DOING ONE FABULOUS JOB!!!
Rutger at 2:07AM, Nov. 29, 2007
Everything he knows is telling him to run. My bet is that he won't run. How much you wanna put on it?
DAJB at 1:39AM, Nov. 29, 2007
Bustah: No, they're just a bunch of assorted thugs. And the "swastika" is actually the other way round, I believe. I have a vague feeling that - drawn as it is here - it might actually be the Jewish symbol for peace. I could be wrong about that but, as far as Mitch is concerned, you can just take it as a sign of his ignorance! Peipei: I don't know ... there are quite a few of them! Lemnis: Oooh ... now I so want a Shades RPG!
