I've probably said this before somewhere but, even though I mapped out personalities for [i]all[/i] the characters in advance, Boo's (more than any of the others) really seemed to take on a life of its own as the script developed! JNP: Yup - strong personality, indeed! As for the others ... I guess we'll find out if and when they get up there! ;D one: Heh - one step ahead of me, eh? ;-) Tannalein: Yes, you will. The mysterious "kidnappers" have seemed so menacing until this page. You've played them almost as "heavies", but, with this page, they suddenly seem like a friendly, slightly inept group of people. The shift "feels" a little "ghost in the machine". Other than that, I really like the page.

Harry: Yeah. I like showing the more "personable" side of Boo but I do have trouble keeping her inactive for more than a few panels at a time! Abt: Thanks! You're absolutely right - Harsho's a bit of an ace when it comes to expressions! I've checked the script for the SFX and this isn't an example of Harsho changing my SFX after all. It's an example of him putting [i]in[/i] SFX where I didn't have any! When I spot a good example of a change, I'll let you know! As for the rankings, I've no idea how they work. As far as I can tell, it's simply a question of Page Views (so they benefit comics with large archives), but I could be wrong.

Amazing how you're able to make these four characters feel so real in so little "screen time". Harsho's grasp on poses and expressions greatly supports that. But now you got me wondering - what do your original sound FX sound (read) like? Another thing I'm wondering - Are the Top 100 decided by how many times a comic is favorited?

DocShadow: It's funny. Like a lot of guys on here, I'm sure, I usually try to think up original sound FX for my comics. But then, nine times out of ten, Harsho would replace them with tried and trusted "old school" FX and I'd end up thinking ... yeah, that might even work better! Peipei: Good advice for everyone within striking distance of Boo, I should think! Definitely a great friend to have on your side but - as Bill Bixby (almost) used to say - "you wouldn't like her when she's angry!" seventy2: Maybe ... it's certainly a theory! ;-)
