See - you can't just let any old tailor run you up some hero gear … If you're going up against bad guys you need a specialist!
Reminder: If you haven't checked it out since Monday, look in on the BVC Scrap Book. We've just started running DajbDevil - another of the comics I made out of second-hand pit-ponies when I were merely a lad!
Terry: Thanks!
Delta: Tut! Fine super hero you'd have made!
Thip: Exactly. And no jeans or trainers!
Armando: Only one way to find out ... Turn the page - quick!
Ah, it feels good to be back in a country where I can get internet access! I've missed so much in my absence...like that cool Spider-Chair!
I have to say, if *I* had to go up against a Panzershreck, *I'd* rather have a sniper rifle, camouflage, and at least 160 meters of distance on the guy with said 'rocket anti-tank rifle' (seeing as its effective range is 150 meters, if I remember correctly), than a really nice suit. For those who would say that is 'unsporting' I would point out that my opponent is using a bazooka.
Hey - easy there, Boo. Youth always was impetuous. Judging by Boo's own behaviour she may still be ;o) Love the idea of a superhero tailor, of course you can't save the world without proper attire - be like going fox hunting in brown clothing ;o)
Trevor: Heh - think of it as therapy!
Adam: Thanks! I am so glad you guys have taken to her! Although Stan will stay central to the story, he'll obviously get less "screen-time" as the cast gets bigger and the action gets wilder, so I did wonder a few times whether people would take to the other characters as much as they did to Stan.
Midge: She doesn't need any encouragement to go ... Just you try and stop her!
SoItBegins: A drunk one?
one: Pretty close to the mark, actually! I've tried to have the core group avoid the word "costume" as much as possible. There are places where I think it's okay (e.g. out of the mouths of those on the fringes of the group) but there are still places where it needs to be changed as soon as I can think of something better, and places like this one where it was only changed recently and I still need to integrate the font properly!
Alana: Yeah - he's going to need to wise up if he wants to stay in one piece!
JNP: Absolutely. Always important to know your place!
Oooh expressive hands in panel 3. And expressive blackout for Ryan starting next page ^_^
We don't care how many broken bones you have! Get to suit making!!!
Peipei: We all learn from our mistakes, right? Some of us quicker than others, of course!
cs3: By the "other group", you mean? Hmmm ... my lips are sealed!
Harry: There's a distinct possibility, isn't there!
Albone: Ha! I never thought about that! Although I'm not sure Boo's nurses would be as kind to him as they
have been to Stan!
Good to see Stan is on the mend, but it looks like Ryan is going to need a bed right next to him! At least it'll be a short ride to a hospital bed courtesy of Boo.
Tantz: It's fair to say that - when I've run Shades elsewhere - Ryan hasn't been the most popular of characters. Hard to believe, huh? ;-)
DocShadow: She did say she'd teach them some manners ...!
Abt: Heh - I'm going to have to take your word for that! With Doug being a veteran of WW2, though, I'm going to guess that he meant something closer to Doc Shadow's interpretation!

Shame on you for disrespecting your elders while they're wounded, young 'un! Boo'll teach him... ;)

...pipsqueak! XD I hate those 'do your part' speeches. Usually they are delivered by guys that never do theirs. XD
