After trial, tribulation and at least 2 other comics spawned from it, Shrimp Fried Riot eventually became this strip:
My Own Personal Apocalypse.

Here, Octavius recaps the last few years or so of his life between the end of SFR and the beginning of this strip by way of talking to himself, though, a little more literally than what I actually do… if not by MUCH.
Names and species had been changed to protect the not-at-ALL-innocent, but this was basically my real life between 2004 or so and 2010 in a nutshell.
