I’m not saying that autobiography is the lowest form of comicking, I’m just saying that autobiography is the lowest form of comicking.
It's true that I may not feel that way deep down, but, it's definitely how I was feeling when I first made these. I have enjoyed many autobio comics from creators much more talented than I will ever be, still, I feel that there's a wealth of subject matter out there that, once again, creators more talented that I will ever be, to explore.
Sometimes when I see them do comics about themselves, I just feel that it's a waste of talent and potential and just seems narcissistic.
Anyway,
Welcome back the lovely Lucy Q, everyone.
She’s a good woman and I am lucky to have her, both in real life and in this comic. She puts up with a lot from me. Not the least of which is my chronic depression, low self esteem and penchant for making her the ‘straight man’ in these dumb comics.
