When I started buying comics they were "Still only 20₵" plus sales tax. Don't remember what M&Ms were selling for though.

Myep. For me, when I got into comics, (late 70s, early 80s), they were about 60 or 65 cents, just before they jumped up to 75₵. M&Ms were about 45 or 50 cents a pack. Peanut Butter M&Ms weren't even a THING, yet.... come to think of it, I don't think bottled water was, either.
