Ha! Thought you wouldn't see me this week, huh? :D You thought wrong!
This issue was a last-minute idea that I originally was going to do to be lazy, but turned out to be eight fucking panels… Jon and Zack just can't have a super short strip, can they. Anyway, I put a lot of effort into it, too. Trying to get the car interior right, and the car -exterior-, and the truck, and all that.. Anyway.. on to the strip:
-Jon drives a used 86' Chevrolet Celebrity with a revamped interior, that he bought for five hundred bucks out of someone's driveway the first couple of hours after he moved to the states. He's not a wealthy man.. But it works, apparently.
-Jon's discovering for the first time in his life he's attracted to someone. Oh no!
-I love how I drew this whole thing, I really do..
-The second to last panel has a little salute to Travis Grady from Silent Hill: Origins. It's not exactly like his truck, but I wasn't going for exactness.
-Two weeks from now I'm going to look back on this strip and go “Jesus this sucks! Why did I put it up on the internet?!” I know I will. That's what I think about every other strip. o.o
