How Snakes Got Their Names 5

There really is a jumping viper–I have seen them. Mean little critters. They are called that because when they strike they actually become a little bit airborne. It'd be even cooler if they jumped on trampolines though…
The Kenyan Sand Boa is probably my favorite of all. He just looks so into what he's doing. Real Kenyan sand boas stay under the sand most of the time. I had one for awhile. He was fun to feed. He reminded me of the Graboids on Tremors.

Nice job Amy!!!! I'm typing extreemly slow for some reason!! There is a Korean singer here in Japan, her name is Boa... I would not know why she would choose that name... she looks nothing like a snake! (^_^)

I love Tremors...(At least, the first movie.) Those snakes look hilarious! I love the hat on the sand boa. (That is SO cute.)
