Knee deep in the dead

Notes: I'm already missing semi 3-D backgrounds =( (I will probably have to get some more
backgrounds too)
The first Chapter in Doom is called “Knee deep in the dead” so thought it would be fitting to name the first “doom” chapter on this the same name.
At the end of each level in Doom, you get a score in %age, with kills, items and secrets, hence Sonics comment on the last frame
Also noticed theres a near perfect line with the height of the dead bodies!
For those who havent played Doom or Doom 2 (How could you? =O ) Sonic to a degree sums it up in the 3rd part. Or in other words kill or be killed. Sounds very simple but then Doom is a simple game. And thats why its such a great game. Its easy to get into, as well as being one of the most influential games of all time (the term first person shooter didnt come about till 4 years after Doom. Games of the same genre were instead called Doom clones. Says it all)
Also, after this, I'm not going to sprite in Sonic and Tails (or anyone elses) weapons, unless there is a good reason (like they are firing them). This is for three reasons:
1. It would be a nightmare to sprite in someone carrying a shotgun, rocket launcher, plasma gun AND a BFG (Not to mention armour, backpack…)
2. It means comics can be done quicker
3. Lazieness
And one more thing, theres 3 assessments on the horizon so dont be too shocked if I miss a deadline or two (I'll try not too)

Oh, another thing, if anyone does download it and is using Vista (although it can happen for XP as well) you MUST also download dplay.dll (just google it) and put it in your SYSTEM32 folder (if your not sure where on your comp it is, use the search function) otherwise Doom wont run at all. If it loads in only a small window in black and white in the corner, exit, then in the launcher, go to set the screen resolution, (cant remember the tab and button though) select 640x480 and select windowed then full screen EVEN IF FULL SCREEN WAS SELECTED ALREADY! for some reason this works, at least it did for me (no idea why though) I'll get some proper instructions down for next time though.
