Should have known Rex by now; just shrugging off Amphi's attempts to stand her ground and not give into his charms . . . but, he's still reeling her in with lowkey threats regarding the rest of her people, which only continues to put her in a perilous predicament. I really feel for her. This is all one big game to those Monsters, and unfortunately, the Anaphils are pawns in their game. Looking forward to seeing where Chapter 9 takes us.
